Our booking on the new Explora III having been thwarted when they completely changed the itinerary just after we booked it, I was determined to try again. So when the itineraries came out for sister ship Explora IV, due to debut in early 2027, I was quick to make this booking.

At 70,000 tons and 20m longer than their first two ships, the new Explora III and IV would be LNG-powered but almost identical to the first two ships and with just 940 passengers. So, with another cruise booked on Explora II in the meantime, there was much to look forward to and compare.
